Featuring a hybrid design between semi-hollow and solid body guitars, the SA-126 Special QM combines a chambered mahogany body with a basswood centerblock for enhanced stability and tone. Capped with either a maple top (for solid finishes) or a quilt maple top (for transparent finishes), this guitar is equipped with a 5-ply body binding, exuding a distinct "TONE."
The neck is a 22-fret, 12 to 16-inch compound ebony fingerboard with jumbo frets and triple block inlays, attached to a graphite-reinforced mahogany neck. With a scale length of 24 and three-quarters inches, the neck provides a familiar and comfortable feel of a modern classic.
For easy on-the-fly adjustments, the guitar features a spoke wheel truss rod adjustment at the butt end of the neck. Additionally, it boasts a three-way toggle switch at the upper horn, allowing players to switch between the bridge, bridge and neck, and neck pickups. Two volumes and two tones controls allow for precise tone shaping.
