EVH Signature Wah Yellow
The legendary guitarist, Eddie Van Halen, was heavily involved in the intensive design collaboration that led to the development of the EVH Wah. Early on in the process, Eddie provided his "Holy Grail" Cry Baby – a standard Cry Baby that had been customized in the early Nineties with a more vocal-like, High Q inductor and a wider frequency sweep.
Interestingly, Dunlop found that over the years, Eddie's unique wah style, which primarily utilizes the middle range of the pedal's action, had carved his own curve into the pot's resistive element. This resulted in an even more defined middle range and an increased low-end sweep.
To capture the same "Holy Grail" feel and tone, Dunlop has included clones of the worn-in pot and hand-selected inductor in the new EVH Wah Wah. Additionally, the pedal features a true hardwire bypass, dual bright blue bypass LEDs, and graphics based on the black and yellow-striped guitar featured on Van Halen II, giving it a voice and look all its own.
The EVH Wah Wah can be powered by either a Dunlop ECB003 AC Adapter or a single 9-volt battery, ensuring versatility and convenience for the user.
The collaboration between Dunlop and Eddie Van Halen has resulted in a unique and highly sought-after wah pedal that captures the essence of the legendary guitarist's signature sound.
